RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT

Alpine Seeds has designed the Research & Development programme to address the world's rising demand for food and nutrition as well as the need of consumers and farmers for different crops. Company has well developed infrastructure, experienced team and multi-disciplinary crop improvement programme to achieve breeding objectives. Company has a broad germplasm base in different crops to execute successful breeding programs. Alpine takes intensive hybridization and evaluation programme to develop new hybrids every year. We also takes Station Trials, Multi-location Trials (MLTs) as well as farmers field trials for evaluation of promising materials. We have also initiated use of biotechnological approaches for development of resistance cultivar. We have developed several exceptional products that have changed the market scenario.

SEED PRODUCTION

Alpine Seeds has well established production network of Organizers and Farmers. Company produces a diverse range of high-quality seeds by taking seed production programme in various geographical locations throughout India. Alpine Seeds is committed to provide high quality seeds to the farmers. Maintenance breeding is given top priority at Alpine Seeds to maintain the quality of source seeds. We produce Breeder and Foundation seeds under direct supervision of Breeders at our own farms in proper isolation. Our Seed Production Team visits the production fields frequently and provide proper guidance to the farmers. We are committed to breaking new ground in seed production, as we believe that serving farmers is serving the nation.

SEED PROCESSING AND QUALITY ASSURANCE

Dedication to produce high-quality seeds is undoubtedly our greatest strength. We have one of the most stringent field and laboratory quality assurance system. Every seed lot that enters at processing centre is meticulously inspected for Physical Purity, Moisture Content, Germination and Seed Vigour by Quality Control Team. We carry out Grow Out Test for each and every seed lot we produce. Seed lots that fulfills all the test criteria as per Indian Minimum Seed Certification Standards, are only use for processing and packing. We have high-tech seed processing plant to achieve excellent cleaning, grading, treating, packaging and storage. Alpine seeds have validated DNA marker based protocols for hybrid purity test in tomato and chilli. Excellence in seed quality is the key slogan to maintain the continued patronage of the large farming community.
